MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

COAST INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

ADMINISTRATION SECTION

C.I.T seeks to recruit competent and dedicated applicants to fill up the following positions:

REGISTRY CLERK JOB GROUP D

DUTIES

  1. Managing the Information Management System for students’ registration and Examination.
  2. Recording students and parents /guardian data in the admission Registry.
  3. Filling of all documents at the Registry office.
  4. With courtesy receiving and serving all visitors’ (customers) visiting the registry office.
  5. Typing and printing of documents at the registry office including certificates.
  6. Preparing termly reports on students’ admission and enrolment.
  7. Preparing termly and continuous advertisement materials for the college.
  8. Any other duty that may be assigned to you by the Registrar/ Administration.

Minimum qualification.

  1. Any Business related Certificate
  2. Diploma in any Business related course shall be an added advantage
  3. Proficiency in computer
  4. Any other experience in Secretarial/Reception duties will be an added advantage.

 

TECHNICIAN

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN JOB GROUP D

Responsibilities.

  1. Conduct laboratory and workshop lessons in the Engineering Department as per instructions from the subjects’ lecturers.
  2. Develop and test laboratory and workshop manuals as instructed by the subject lecturers.
  3. Ensure that laboratory and workshop equipment is in good working conduction.
  4. Ensure that laboratory and workshop environment is clean and conducive for learning.
  5. May be required to attend to an electrical fault/repair and or maintenance problem within the college.
  6. Establish and maintain inventory of laboratory and workshop equipment and materials.
  7. Safe custody of laboratory and workshop equipment and materials.
  8. Shall ensure safety at work rules and regulations are strictly observed by the students during practical sessions.
  9. Report all breakages/ damages or losses to the HOD as soon as they occur.
  10. Any other duty that may assigned by the Administration.

Minimum qualification

  1. Craft certificate in Electrical Installation or any other equivalent.
  2. Diploma in Electrical installation or its equivalent is an added advantage.
  3. Computer literate.

 

 

ADMINISTRATION SECTION

DEPUTY PRINCIPAL’S SECRETARY JOB GROUP D

Duties and Responsibilities.

  1. Filling and records management at the Deputy Principal’s office.
  2. With courtesy receiving, serving and directing all clients (customers) visiting the Deputy Principal’s office.
  3. Handling Administrative correspondence.
  4. General typing and printing.
  5. Any other duty that may be assigned to you by the Deputy Principal/Administration.

Minimum qualification

  1. Diploma in Secretarial studies or any other equivalent
  2. Proficiency in computer
  3. Any other experience in Secretarial /Reception duties will be an added advantage.

    Applications  should be received not later than, 26th August 2016.
